ABOUT KARATE CAMP
Join us for three days of training, growing and fun during our annual summer camp. Hosted at Beautiful Ross Point Christian Camp, and featuring unique seminar material not ordinarily experienced in your training!

Karate Camp 2020
Camp 2020's theme was a surprise to all campers: Knowledge does not equal Expereince. The campers were told that they knew the CKA Character Qualities, but that they hadn't really experienced them.
Each day had a daily Character Quality Theme, with an hourly Character Quality focus throughout. Friday was Humility, and everyone had to wear a white belt. Saturday was Self Control, and everyone maintained silence for the first 3 hours. Sunday was Patience, and everyone participated in several mannequin challenges (holding a pose without moving, while the camera filmed the 'mannequins') held randomly throughout the day. Many other unique drills and actives such as knife defense training, The Escape Room Challenge, The KarateFit Games, Team skits, and hilarious student vs student challenges were also featured events.

Karate Camp 2019
Camp 2019's theme was exploring the influence of Japanese culture on the development of karate. Campers were plunged into an immersive environment and learned customs such as chopsticks and common Japanese phrases.
For training, campers used old-school strength training tools, such as the Chi-Ishi (stone mallet). The KarateFit Games featured a set of intense physical challenges, with only one winner emerging in each age division.
